Following extensive consultation with Wealden District Council and local stakeholders, Danescroft has submitted an outline planning application for up to 180 new homes alongside a new medical centre on their 16 acre site in Willingdon, East Sussex. The site is allocated in the Local Plan and its early delivery will help to alleviate the significant shortfall in housing in the area as well as providing a new state-of-the-art medical centre, which will principally accommodate the two local GP practices in Polegate.
Danescroft are working closely with the local council and other stakeholders to bring forward their plans to provide high quality new homes to the area, as well as their delivery partner Assura, to bring forward the brand new medical centre. This will significantly increase capacity in primary care and improve patient access to services in the local community.
The site, situated in Willingdon is 0.5 miles to the south of the town of Polegate.
