8 November 2022 – James Trelfa has been made Managing Director of London based property company Danescroft Land, after increasing his shareholding to 33%, becoming joint equal shareholder alongside Dominic Fryer, and London-based Fiera Real Estate UK (“Fiera”). Fiera is the UK real estate subsidiary of global investment manager Fiera Capital Corporation which has over USD 120bn in AUM.
James joined the firm in 2015 from Shanly Homes and before his recent promotion to Managing Director, he focused primarily on land origination and delivering business plans, successfully securing over 20 for the firm. James has been integral to the growth of the firm and his move to Managing Director places the business in an excellent position to take advantage of the current market cycle.
Danescroft has established a considerable track record in acquiring and developing complex brownfield and greenfield sites, working closely with landowners, local authorities, communities and other stake holders. It boasts a current portfolio GDV of over £1bn and is actively managing major external projects for Fiera, the Guinness Partnership and Longharbour amongst others.
